Introduction
Suspended superfine dry powder fire extinguishing system is developed and designed for relatively narrow places such as distribution rooms, cable tunnels, communication base stations, computer labs, ships, subway, and underground tunnels. It has the following advantages:
1. Because superfine dry powder can suspend in the air for a certain time due to small particle size and good fluidity, it can be used for self-extinguishment in relatively closed space by total flooding, or for self-extinguishment for partial protection of open places.
2. Convenient installation and use: It is easy to install only through suspending over the protected object, because there is no need to punch holes on the wall and install plenty of pipes and ancillary facilities.
3. Two starting modes, reliable performance
A. Temperature control starting by temperature-sensing element: In the case of fire, the room temperature exceeds the nominal operating temperature of nozzle temperature-sensing element, glass balls expand and break after heated, pressure plate on the nozzle will be pulled off by pressure in the powder tank, then fire extinguishing agent is ejected quickly under the action of driving gas to extinguish fire.
B. Electrical starting: In the case of fire, the fire alarm control system detects fire, fire alarm controller conforms it to send out fire extinguishing instructions to the fire extinguishing control panel, the control panel outputs the action electric signal to connect fire power supply to the electronic starter on the fire extinguishing system, then glass balls expand and break after temperature-sensing element is heated, and the nozzle is opened to eject fire extinguishing agent.
