Introduction
Carbon dioxide extinguishing agent is low toxic, colorless and odorless at room temperature, can escape fast after extinguishment, and is widely applied internationally with good insulation performance, no contamination to equipment and strong fire extinguishing performance.
Carbon dioxide extinguishing system can extinguish gas, liquid and liquefiable solid (like paraffin and asphalt) fires, solid surface fire, deep fire of part of solids (like cotton and paper), and electrical fire. Because it is cheap and free from contamination to objects, it is suitable for extinguishing fire occurred at rolling mills, printing presses, power stations, dipping oil baths, coal powder bins, painting lines, drying equipment and other occasions.
It mainly consists of an automatic alarm control system, a fire extinguishing agent bottle, a selector valve, a one-way valve, a start device, a pressure signal device, a safety valve, a leak detecting device, a metal hose, a nozzle, a header pipe, pipes, etc. It can be applied to fire protection for single area or multiple areas in form of unit independent system and combined distribution system. Its fire extinguishing mode could be total flooding or partial flooding. It can automatically detect and extinguish fire, and can be started through electrical, manual or mechanical emergency modes to extinguish fire under emergencies.
